wolverine: the man, the myth, the legend

yes....that's my new pet name for conor and his beard. I wanted to take a few moments to share some of my thoughts on his facial achievement.

pros:

-it keeps him warm
-it stores food crumbs "for later"
-he looks indigenous to every country we've visited
-his "get ready time" is down to 4 minutes
-I get to call him "wolverine"

cons

-it keeps him warm...more sweat!
-food crumbs for later......GROSS
-indigenous usually = dirty
-get ready time 4 mintues, again, = dirty
-His wolverine grooming tool is his leatherman!

But, the pros outweigh the cons and im enjoying his beard...we'll see how long that lasts. For now, wolverine is awesome and lots of furry fun!

Great post, Lindsay! Give my regards to Wolverine. Don't know the score of the BC game, but they just started the second half of the ND game and it's all tied up. Lots of turnovers. Kind of painful....Don't know what you get for TV in South America, but you can probably follow along online.

LOVE to both,

Lindsay and Conman(Wolerine), Great analysis of the pro's and con's of Conor's beard. Some updates...BC lost to Georgia Tech 19-16 but ND came back and beat San Diego State 21-13. I didn't see the BC game but I did see the ND game and ND had a lot of tough breaks and at the end Clausen, who looks like a man now, took over. Next week versus Michigan makes me nervous. Back to Latin America...How is the wine country of Mendoza? Does it compare to Haight Vineyards or Hopkins Vineyards? Back to Connecticut, right now tropical storm Hanna is right over Connecticut and we are receiving a lot of rain. Apparently a tornado touched down in the Wilton area. (when I heard this, I immediately got up on the roof to try to see it, but no luck and Mom was yelling at me.) Returning to LA,, I look forward to Iguazu Falls photos which will be unbelievable. Then you are going on to San Paulo which is often described as the fastest growing urban population in the world. It is also a place where many of John Arnhold's extended family lives. Watch out for the favelas. Meanwhile keep the commentary and photos coming, we are all living vicariously through your trip. Love, The Dadman

Excellent Lindsay! Now, in order to finish my research, I need to know.....are there any grey hairs in the beard?
